Doctor Skunk to the Rescue!
He came in from outside with a bloody nub where his thumb claw should be. Was a bloody mess. I dowsed it in hydrogen poroxide and got some gauss and duck taped it up. Now he keeps shaking his paw trying to get it to come off. Haha! Silly mutt.
